Yumi Ito

With her unique voice, Yumi Ito has created musical worlds without borders. The Swiss pianist and singer, with Polish-Japanese roots, is a world reference in vocal improvisation, moving between art-pop, jazz and neoclassical.

On her fifth album – Ysla – Ito explores themes such as loneliness, rebirth and the end of the world, using a universal vocal language. With deep interpretations and striking improvisations, this work represents a new peak in her career, offering an immersive listening experience.

Yumi Ito makes her live debut at Misty Fest in quartet format, accompanied by Iago Fernández on drums – with whom she collaborated on this album – Nadav Erlich on double bass and Alessio Cazzetta on guitar.
