Yann Tiersen

Yann Tiersen, the French composer behind the 2001 soundtrack for the film Amélie, will be coming to Sagres Campo Pequeno on November 12. The show will feature a solo performance with piano and electronics, promoting his new album Rathlin from a Distance | The Liquid Hour. The album is divided into two distinct but interconnected parts, each with unique sonic characteristics. Rathlin from a Distance is eight tracks of introspective instrumental piano, The Liquid Hour is an expansive, genre-defying blend of electronic music and psychedelic rhythms.
