XIII Festival Cantabile
2025

Presented for the first time in 2010 with the artistic direction of Diemut Poppen, the Cantabile Festival is back in Lisbon, with five concerts in emblematic places in the city, between September 28 and October 5.
This year’s edition features five renowned musicians in the challenging “art of chamber music”, led by violist and pedagogue Diemut Poppen, joined by Chinese-born violinist Dan Zhu, Russian-Portuguese cellist Pavel Gomziakov, Argentine pianist (based in Germany) José Gallardo, and Hungarian-French mezzo-soprano Katalin Karólyi.
The Cantabile Festival, “the art of chamber music,” offers a variety of classical and modern repertoire, bridging eras and combining works by past masters with contemporary composers. All the information here.
