Hedera 4tet + Gonçalo M. Tavares

For the concert at the São Luiz Theatre, Hedera 4tet invited author Gonçalo M. Tavares to join the quartet for an approach to writing through sound and music, exploring both within their broader contexts and practising sound as a creative element, the result of experimentation and the balance of contrasts. In this process, the work carried out will establish/develop performative methodologies for the collective, seeking the use of modern technologies for creation, sound treatment and sampling in which lines of text and acoustic sound lines, deceptively idiomatic, will be set against extensive techniques and associated combinations of remaining treatments.
