An American neuroscientist who has suffered a stroke and was therefore able to study from within the damage caused by this event. At 37, she lost all her memories and had to reinvent her personality from scratch. A man born with a degenerative disease was the first patient to ever receive a full face transplant. Thanks to an experimental procedure, he now lives with the face of a man 25 years his junior. An experimental filmmaker, obsessed by the photographic work of queer iconic artist Claude Cahun, feels a strange connection to her and discovers a radical way to think about identity by claiming gender neutrality. These three voices are joined to form a single conversation questioning the stability of our identities.
