In September, Lisbon celebrates the music of more than 30 women composers, from the Middle Ages to the present, in the first edition of CRIVO festival, which showcases unique works from the history of classical music. CRIVO – Women Composers Festival presents concerts, forums, conferences, and film.

Entirely dedicated to the works of female composers from various countries around the world, including Portugal, the festival aims to showcase the vast and diverse musical creations these women have created over the centuries, honoring their work through exclusive programming and offering a more nuanced and comprehensive view of the history of music and the role of women in society and culture.
