Jorge Nesbitt and Vasco Futscher
Rien ne va plus
Jorge Nesbitt and Vasco Futscher present a silent set of ceramic objects, designed and produced by four hands. These works point to a deliberate loss of function and raise questions about the transition from something useful to an undefined reality.
The artists present a large installation that intensifies an unusual state of affairs. Through visual repetition and rhythm, we are led to listen to the resonance of a chime. Bells, used by various ancestral traditions, are a voice, an alert, a warning, something to be communicated. Here, an indecipherable vibration echoes between memory and novelty.
