The Murals of Almada in the Maritime Stations

The new Almada Murals at the Maritime Stations Interpretation Centre opens its doors and provides access to the 14 mural panels by the artist Almada Negreiros, made for the two buildings – six at Rocha do Conde de Óbidos Maritime Terminal and eight at the Alcântara Maritime Terminal.
At the latter, visitors can explore nine rooms, featuring digital and interactive experiences about the construction and decoration context of the Navigation Terminals, the artistic legacy left by Almada Negreiros in Lisboa, as well as documentation about the Maritime Terminals, including testimonies, interviews, notes, photographs, and reproductions of works and documents.
Every day, 10 am - 7 pm
The stations are about 800 metres apart and a shuttle bus will take visitors from one to the other.
