Home Sweet Home
Santander transformed the emblematic Edifício dos Leões (Lions’ Building), a headquarters of Pombaline origin, into a cultural space that will host very relevant works of art from its estate, as well as temporary exhibitions. The history of the bank is also well manifested as the visit unfolds.
The opening of the new space will count on the presence of the visual artist Joana Vasconcelos who, over the next few months and through some of her pieces, will build the exhibition Lar Doce Lar (Home Sweet Home). The exhibition crosses the three floors of the building as if it were a house. 16 pieces, such as the Cinderella Shoe (2007), the Brise Sofa (2001), the Mãe d’Água Shower (2019), the Dentelle Piano #3 (2016) and the Carmen Lamp (2001), will be on display.
Tuesday to Sunday, from 12 to 6pm
