The Serralves Collection at Paços do Concelho in Lisbon
Intercidades invites visitors to discover or revisit a selection of works from the Serralves Collection, representative of the multiplicity of languages which mark the art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Created in dialogue with the spaces it occupies, this exhibition includes works by artists such as Rui Aguiar, Lourdes Castro, Mauro Cerqueira, Priscila Fernandes, Ângela Ferreira, Mona Hatoum, Bethan Huws, Bruce Nauman, Dennis Oppenheim, Fernando José Pereira, Pedro Tudela and Richard Tuttle. The Serralves Foundation is currently the owner of one of the most important contemporary art collections in Europe as, since its origin, it focused on providing an international context for Portuguese art, bringing together a considerable group of works produced from the decade of 1960 onwards and providing conditions for Portuguese and foreign artists to produce unpublished works.
Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
