Iminente Festival

This month, the Iminente Festival invades Monsanto’s Panoramic for four days of creative cultural intimacy. This quintessential urban festival of art and music returns to Lisbon to showcase the best of the different subcultures linked to the urban scene. The event also proposes a reflection on the importance of art in the dynamics of the city.

The highest point of the city will feature 100 artists from 11 nationalities, in a event that brings together renowned artists with innovative projects and new talents that are now emerging in Portugal. Co-organized by the Lisbon City Council and curated by Alexandre Farto aka Vhils and Underdogs platform, this year’s edition features a special collaboration with Shaka Lion in the music selection.

In addition to the visual and musical artists, b-boys, performers, contemporary dance and debates that will take place in the festival’s five stages, there will also be the usual half-pipe for demonstrations by some of the best national skaters.

Created in 2016, and having passed through London, Shanghai and Rio de Janeiro, the Iminente Festival brings together the multicultural creative talent that flourishes in Lisbon and spreads throughout the world, leading the Portuguese matrix to dialogue with other artistic expressions. ARV
