Alkantara Festival

Carla Nobre Sousa and David Cabecinha, who are once again responsible for the artistic direction of the festival, have chosen the theme Repeat, remember, imagine, resist for this edition of Alkantara Festival. The theme is justified by the desire to situate the event in the present time, which itself carries memory and a desire for the future. The two directors affirm that “making and witnessing live performance is a way of belonging to this time, our time.”
