Young Design Generation
The 20 proposals selected by the jury of the 2nd Young Design Generation competition promoted by Lisbon Design Week (LDW) in partnership with MUDE is exhibited in the various sections of the museum’s long-term exhibition in dialogue with product, fashion, graphic and contemporary jewellery pieces from MUDE’s collection.
The 157 proposals submitted to the competition reflect different understandings of the disciplinary field of design and the challenges of today’s society. The aim of this initiative is to give visibility to the creativity of participants from the generations who are now beginning their professional careers, while at the same time promoting new contributions to the debate proposed in the long-term exhibition entitled What are things for?.
Tuesday to Thursday, and Sunday: 10 am - 7 pm; Friday and Saturday, 10 am - 9 pm
