FUSO 2025
Lisbon International Video Art Festival

Summer nights are the stage for the 17th edition of FUSO – Lisbon International Video Art Festival, featuring a programme of free video art sessions, screened outdoors at MNAC, Palácio Sinel de Cordes, Palácio Galveias, Praça do Carvão at MAAT, Duplacena 77 and Museu da Marioneta. Under the theme Hot Summers, this year’s edition addresses not only revolutionary events, such as the Carnation Revolution, but also global warming.
The festival opens with the FUSO Insular program, featuring works resulting from a Moving Image Laboratory developed in the Azores under the guidance of director Catarina Mourão and artist André Laranjinha. This edition also features videos from the collection of the Centre National des Arts Plastiques, as well as a selection of works by artists represented by the Kinopravda Institute in Belgrade, Serbia, which pays special attention to the body and movement in natural, urban and post-industrial spaces.
FUSO 2025 takes place from August 26 to 31, and the entrance is free. More information here.
