Subtitled Portuguese Movies
In 2015, the Cinemateca started a summer tradition: during a fortnight in July and another in September, an eclectic exhibit of Portuguese movies in foreign-language subtitled prints (English and French) is presented in Sala Luís de Pina. While allowing everyone to rediscover movies representative of our history, and contrasting titles and authors of different periods, the rule is therefore and above all, variation in itself, as well as presenting a challenge of broader knowledge to other audiences.
