Sei de um Rio, Sei de um Museu
Urban Sketchers

Fernanda Lamelas, Filipe Leal Faria, João Catarino, José Louro, Luís Frasco, Marcelo de Deus, Marta Castro, Pedro Cabral, Rosário Félix and Teresa Ruivo are the ten artists linked to the Urban Sketchers movement whose work is now on display at the Pharmacy Museum, in an exhibition that presents a new way of looking at Portuguese museum spaces.
The initiative, a partnership between Rádio Amália, the Portuguese Museology Association and the museum itself, challenged this group of sketchers to record, in their graphic diaries, museums they have visited, as well as stories about these places or any exhibits. The drawings on display in Sei de Um Rio, Sei de Um Museu (I Know a River, I Know a Museum) transport visitors to museum spaces throughout the country, revealing visual and narrative fragments of collections.
