Mogrr

Mogrr is a minimalist puppet show that shamelessly uses all the tricks of burlesque, puppetry and humour. Here we find Julien Aillet’s first puppet and other characters, made of cotton, cardboard and celluloid, in a unique, cruel and tender sound universe, very much inspired by Todd Browning’s film Freaks, but also influenced by the melancholic innocence of Jacques Tati’s Monsieur Hulot.

Julien Aillet participated with Mogrr at FIMFA Lx8. A creation that has not gone unnoticed and was presented at many international festivals. FIMFA invited Julien to create a new version, which is now making its premiere in Lisbon.
