João Onofre

The first solo exhibition at Pavilhão Julião Sarmento broadens the perspective on the work of Portuguese artist João Onofre by presenting pieces beyond the Collection. Featuring 7 videos shown over the course of 7 weeks, the exhibition aligns with one of the Pavilhão’s programmatic missions: to activate the Collection by not only presenting works from its archive but also deepening the understanding of each artist’s individual practice.
