E.T. – The Extra-Terrestrial

Continuing the very popular cinema sessions with live soundtracks, it is now the Gulbenkian Orchestra’s turn to accompany E.T. – The Extra-Terrestrial, with music by John Williams, close collaborator of director Steven Spielberg. The score underlines the images of one of cinema’s greatest classics and would prove so fundamental that Spielberg adjusted the editing of the film’s capital scene to respect the music imagined by Williams. Under the direction of Anthony Gabriele, journey into one of the most complicit relationships between cinema and music ever experienced.
