LA LOM

Zac Sokolow, Jake Faulkner, and Nicholas Baker came together one day to do what they love, under the name LA LOM, short for The Los Angeles League of Musicians. Their official journey began in the summer of 2022 with the release of their debut EP, but their instrumental sound, evoking artists like Hermanos Gutiérrez, Pachyman, or even Khruangbin, draws deeply from the diverse musical roots of 1950s and ’60s Los Angeles. LA LOM will present their first full-length album, The Los Angeles League of Musicians, on November 9 at LAV, where they’ll bring their boleros, chichas and hard rock-infused cumbias.
