Glen Hansard

On June 20, LAV hosts a concert by Glen Hansard as part of the tour for his new album, All that was east is west of me now. As well as being the lead singer and founding member of Irish rock band The Frames, Glen Hansard is part of folk duo The Swell Season with Czech pianist and vocalist Markéta Irglová. Together they shared the Oscar for Best Original Song for Falling Slowly, from the movie Once, in which they both starred. Among Hansard’s solo albums, Didn’t He Ramble (2015) received a Grammy nomination.
