Alice Geirinhas

Existem pedras nos olhos brings together a selection of works ranging from drawing to painting, graphic arts to illustration, video to installation, dating from different periods.

Curated by Ana Anacleto, the exhibition aims to create dialogical universes that allow a reflection on the way in which Alice Geirinhas (Évora, 1964) has been investigating the subjects of identity, sexuality, gender equality, resistance to history, politics inherent to the private and poetics inherent to the political.

Throughout her career, the artist has developed a discreet exhibition path, mainly focused on the presentation of projects specially designed for independent contexts and strong collective involvement.
