Rosa, the main character, is a girl with identity issues and a mystical demand, who has a clear preference for the color blue. She will then climb a blue mountain carrying her blue garden chair with the purpose of sitting on top of the mountain. In this journey of initiation she comes into contact with the real elements of the mountain which are, after all, multi color, but above all green.
António Pires returns to the universe of Gertrud Stein (1874-1946), now with The World Is Round, a short story written by the American author in 1939 for children (or rather, for a child) and which constitutes an excellent introduction to her literary work, while remaining a text that holds universality, suited for both children and adults, appealing to the public for their purest self, leading us to recall the memory of our own innocence.
