Phantom of the Opera

Candlelight, in the format of an intimate concert by candlelight, which takes place in several idyllic spaces in the country, has just announced one of the best known opera shows in Lisbon, by candlelight: The Phantom of the Opera.

This time, classical music gives way to opera, in particular the best known work by Andrew Lloyd Webber, at Páteo Tristão da Cunha, in the Palácio de Xabregas, on October 27 and 29, with two daily sessions (7.45 pm and 9.30 pm).

It is a unique show that combines the most famous songs from the classic Phantom of the Opera with romance and mystery, and which has the interpretation of Loren Geeting – interpreter of The Phantom of the Opera in various productions, and Beatriz dos Santos Ventura, soprano of the Gulbenkian Choir, in the role of Christine.

The repertoire will include some of the most famous songs of this classic, in a truly intimate environment, played by the Lusitanus Orchestra and directed by maestro Carlos Gonçalves: Think of Me; The Music of The Night; Angel of Music; The Point of No Return; Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again; All I Ask of You; The Phantom Of the Opera; Sing For Me.
