Pastoral Symphony
Gulbenkian Orchestra
In 2015, Jonathan Roozeman became the youngest winner of the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition. In no time, he had earned a reputation as one of the most captivating cellists of our time. He performed at Gulbenkian with Nomade, by Sebastian Fagerlund, a work based on abstract notions of search and movement. Under the direction of Hannu Lintu, the Gulbenkian Orchestra will also perform Sibelius’ The Tempest and Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony, works inspired by motifs from nature.
