Lloyd Cole

Lloyd Cole has 62 years of life and 40 of those  were spent with a microphone in front of him and a guitar in tow.
After having already visited us in numerous formations, the musician from Derbyshire, England, who has long lived in the United States, now returns to reintroduce us to this life of songs – classics such as Brand New Friend or Lost Weekend, but also more recent creations such as Violins – with a microphone in front and an acoustic guitar in tow. It is reducing to its deepest essence an art that had pop traction in the 80s and, like the best wines, knew how to age over the decades.
In that time, Cole has built a significant discography with 12 solo albums, the most recent of which, On Pain, was released a few months ago, adding to the ones he made as front of the Rattlesnakes at the start of his career. Albums that are full of intelligent and biting songs about the big questions in life: love and lack of love, anguish and the passing of time, pain and longing, redemption and dreams.
