José Pracana
Museu do Fado presents a retrospective exhibition on the musician, singer, collector and researcher José Pracana (1946-2016), consensually recognized as one of the greatest names in the history of Fado. The exhibition includes photos, newspapers, music records, documents, posters, music instruments, trophies and official awards. It is also possible to revisit archival footage of some of the TV shows he directed and explore, through a replica of his home in Ponta Delgada, the unique atmosphere of the Fado meetings he arranged in that Azorean city.
