Joana Escoval

In Mutações. The Last Poet, Joana Escoval explores the exhibition venue as a medium. This is an installation that transforms the architecture of the gallery space into a continuum of organic curves, calling for a wandering in which the encounter with sculptures, videos and other elements comes together in a poetic narrative. Issues revolving around the relationships between substances, the body and the world are explored through the metaphors produced by these devices, which dispel the line between human and non-human and project an actual poetic work onto the relations of matter.
