Festa do Jazz

Festa do Jazz takes place on December 1, 2 and 3 at the CCB, Antigo Picadeiro do Museu dos Coches and Casa Comum do Bairro Alto – Centro Cultural with a vast program.
It is the largest Portuguese jazz festival organized by Associação Sons da Lusofonia, which has been bringing together different audiences, critics, promoters, professional musicians and jazz students for 21 years.
This edition, in addition to music, with artists such as Erik Truffaz, Clara Lacerda Quintet, LOKOMOTIV, Eduardo Cardinho “Not Far from Paradise”, João Paulo Esteves da Silva Trio, NOUT, Decatet Porta-Jazz/ Robalo & Hans Koller and Orquestra de Matosinhos and Bernardo Tinoco, the Jazz Festival has a different program that involves project presentations, jam sessions, National Jazz School Meetings, artistic residencies and the premiere of the theater play Who stole the…Jazz!.
