The festival that opens the gates of Lisbon’s gardens takes place throughout the month of May, always on the weekend. The balance between the city and nature is the motto for another edition of Jardins Abertos, viewing each green space in the capital as a place of hope for a more promising future. This year highlights include the MACAM Garden (in the photo), Jardins do Bombarda and Jardim do Caracol.
New gardens, forests, community gardens, palaces and innovative projects are becoming known and are the meeting place between people and nature. A meeting that takes place through collective gardening actions, workshops and direct contact with the land.
