Esculturas Infinitas / Infinite Sculptures From Plaster to Digital
Bringing together sculptures by contemporary artists and works from the plasters collection of Lisbon’s Faculdade de Belas-Artes, this exhibition seeks to offer an insight into the importance of molding techniques in current artistic practices and to explore their infinite possibilities.

Featuring works by 18 contemporary artists and pieces from the plasters collection at Lisbon’s Faculdade de Belas-Artes, Esculturas Infinitas / Infinite Sculptures seeks to explore the role of molding techniques not only in sculpture but also in various aspects of everyday life. This process has been allowing for the reproduction of works of art, everyday objects, elements of nature, and buildings – both in the past and the present. Although plaster molding is still used in artistic creation, the exhibition also focuses on more recent technologies such as 3D printing.

Wednesday to Monday from 10 am to 6 pm
