Cutlass Spring
Dana Michel
Gradually advancing towards the absence of censorship, involving the infinite potential of everyday objects, Cutlass Spring is both a manifesto and a heated reflection, an ethnography of sexual understanding and an archeology of desire.
I will wonder about the question: how can I identify my sexual identity within a multiplicity of complementary and apparently contradictory identities – as a performer, mother, daughter, lover, stranger? I will draw a kind of sexual education – with all its incarnations, fabrications and dissociations. I will follow this trajectory to the less explicit form of pornography, to find out what I am holding back and what I am making explicit.
She will sell the body and all other things that are a part of her as a person. She will be aware of what remains in her for sexual contemplation. Gradually advancing towards the absence of censorship, involving the infinite potential of everyday objects, this play is both a manifesto and a lively reflection, an ethnography of sexual understanding and an archeology of desire.
