Art Connects Us

In order to provide its social contribution, the CPS – Centro Português de Serigrafia, in the year of its 35th anniversary, determined that the first edition of serigraphy produced at Atelier CPS after the end of confinement, would have a solidarity character and a collective symbolism, under the motto Art Connects Us.
In this context, nine prestigious artists – Cristina Ataíde, Gracinda Candeias, José de Guimarães, Leonel Moura, Marçal, Pedro Calapez, Rico Sequeira, Silva Palmeira and Sofia Areal – were invited to develop a project during their individual confinement period, to create a unique serigraphy, an intentional collective with the purpose of offering Hospitals and organizations engaged in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and establishing a solidarity action with two entities, the Food Bank and Cerci Oeiras.
