Alfredo Cunha

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of his career, and women, Alfredo Cunha has an exhibition at Museu de Lisboa – Torreão Poente, that brings together more than 60 photographs, with text commentary by Maria Antónia Palla, a journalist and one of the nation’s greatest defenders of women’s rights. The photojournalist Alfredo Cunha photographed women around the world. In this exhibition, you will be able to see photographs of female figures taken in India, Iraq, Brazil, East Timor, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Haiti, among many other countries. The images of this show were compiled in a homonymous book edited by Tinta-da-china, which was released on November 7th, at 6:30 pm.
