The Streets of New Orleans is back in Europe to celebrate the vibrant soul of a city where music is the air we breathe, in churches, on street corners, in streets named after songs. With the captivating voice of Bridget Bazile, one of the great divas of contemporary gospel, and the infectious talent of the New Orleans Gospel Choir, this show delves into the roots of African-American tradition with spirituality, rhythm and emotion.
A concert that recreates the great gospel hymns, evokes the spirit of the Jazz Funeral and pays tribute to the names that shaped the musical identity of New Orleans like Louis Armstrong, Mahalia Jackson or Fats Domino.
