Carlos Paredes is Mosteiro dos Jerónimos of the Portuguese Guitar, said fado legend Amália Rodrigues.
In 2025, we celebrate the Centenary of birth of Carlos Paredes, one of the greatest Portuguese Guitar players ever. Bringing together musical instruments, records, printed documents and films, the anthological exhibition Variações para Carlos Paredes proposes a return to the life and work of this singular musician, so important and influential.
