MOPCUT + Moor Mother + MC Dälek

Formed in 2018 from the meeting between Audrey Chen, Julien Desprez and Lukas König, the trio MOPCUT quickly made themselves known with an untamed sound, in which hints of experimental electronica clashed with crumbling rhythms and a guitar that sounding like a source of controlled noise. Hence the question of whether this is Noise, Jazz, Free improvisation, Rock’n’roll, Minimalism, Operatic music, Sound art or Punk.

It’s perhaps a bit of everything, and even more daring when, on their world premiere, the trio will be joined by MC Dälek and activist and vocalist Moor Mother, featured on the album RYOK, released this year, questioning all the certainties we may have about today’s music.
