FIMFA Lx25

FIMFA is celebrating 25 years as a festival with a programme that occupies ten venues in Lisbon. This year the International Festival of Puppetry and Animated Forms runs for 25 days and has 24 projects. Artists and companies come from 13 countries – Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Spain, United States of America, Finland, France, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, United Kingdom and Switzerland, and guarantee almost 100 performances.

This edition’s highlights include A Doll’s House, with human-sized puppets; La Frittata, which asks who came first: the chicken or the egg; a reinterpretation of The Rite of Spring, and The Nutcracker, among many others.
