Orlando and Mikael meet for the recording of an interview about their gender change surgery. An intimate conversation about substantial decisions, the desire to be loved and the dream of finding yourself. Are we anything other than the sum of the multiple roles we attempt to perform? Does this “self” the characters have chased in their own bodies their whole lives without ever reaching it really exist? Are the people we see not just the unstable outcome of their actions inscribed on their bodies? The two characters are perhaps neither man nor woman, but they certainly are Orlando and Mikael.
