The New Art Fest 2018

The New Art Fest,an international new media artfestival, is back in town. The third edition of the event will focus on American electronic and digital art since the creation of the internet.

America Online / Net Generation probes the early history of digital art and its evolution to the present day. Curated by António Cerveira Pinto and produced by Ocupart, the festival brings together conferences, exhibitions, American video and film sessions, a live performance, and even a Tech Art Fair.

The venues are: Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea do Chiado, Museu Nacional de História Natural e da Ciência, Ordem dos Arquitectos – Secção Regional Sul, and Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes.

This edition of the event will also take over the streets of Lisbon with video works designed for electronic information panels and art installations created for shop windows in the Baixa-Chiado area.
