Rui Sanches

A mirror is nothing more than a journey through the works of Rui Sanches. From unpublished sculptures from the beginning of his work to pieces created specifically for this exhibition, there are works from different periods of the artist, grouped by series and not chronologically. The exhibition, which aims to help better understand Rui Sanches’s reflection, addresses the notions of structure and evocation, the relationship with the body and the use of art history categories.

Curated by Delfim Sardo, the exhibition is divided into two parts: the Berardo Museum exhibits mainly drawing works, while in Torreão Nascente of Cordoaria his sculpture work is presented.
