Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga is scheduled to reopen on May 18 with a new exhibition titled ‘ A Linha que Fecha Também Abre’, a show in which five drawings by Julião Sarmento
– one of the most prominent contemporary visual artists – are contrasted with eight Italian drawings from the Renaissance period, created or attributed to Baccio Bandinelli, Luca Cambiaso, Corregio, Pontormo, and Francisco Venegas.
Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm
