Guided tours to the Medeiros e Almeida House-Museum

The House-Museum Medeiros e Almeida, located in the heart of the capital, will reveal some of the best kept secrets of the residence of the successful businessman António de Medeiros e Almeida (1895-1986), through an online series composed of three episodes of guided tour. The event celebrates International Museum Day with these special guided tours. Each episode focuses on a certain division of the House-Museum, which contain various secrets and curiosities, as is the case of the Hall, space inhabited by the couple Medeiros and Almeida; the Piano Room, a place designed from scratch by the collector and the Porcelain Room, where china’s porcelain collections stand out, with the first porcelain orders from China to Europe.
