DSCH – Schostakovich Ensemble
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of a composer who, for many, is considered to be the greatest composer in history, the DSCH – Schostakovich Ensemble returns to the stage in the BeethovenFest concert in which it presents, in pre-release, the new album dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven and which includes his two Trios for Piano, Clarinet and Cello, Opus 11 and 38. For this concert, and for the new DSCH album – Schostakovich Ensemble, its artistic director and pianist, Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro, has the company of two internationally acclaimed musicians: the French clarinetist Pascal Moraguès and the British cellist Adrian Brendel.
