A Imagem Contextualizada / The Contextualized Image
This year’s edition of A Imagem Contextualizada / The Contextualized Image brings together four individual photographic projects by young authors who share a strong desire for interrogating the photographic image: Ânia Pais (1998), Beatriz Banha (1995), Cláudia Sequeira (1997) and Francisco Painço Santos (1998) showcase projects that reflect an insistent questioning about photography and its mnemonic potential.
As usual, this edition will kick off with a talk with the artists. The talk will be hosted by Orlando Franco on September 2 at 6 pm, but due to the restrictions brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, the format is yet to be announced.
Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm
