Memories of April
Immersive 360º video mapping

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, Praça do Comércio will host an immersive 360º video mapping show dedicated to the Memories of April.
As the name suggests, the show aims to take the audience on a journey back in time, showcasing the moments before the revolution, remembering the day when everything happened, and revisiting the hectic days that followed. Episodes such as the state coup, the dictatorship and the colonial war – followed by the military coup, Zeca Afonso’s ‘Grândola’, the carnations, the troubled year of 1975 and the victory of Freedom – are portrayed in this historical journey, which for eight nights will splash light and color onto the facades of one of the capital’s most iconic squares.
Sessions on April 24 at 9 pm, and from April 25 to May 1 at 9 pm, 9.30 pm, and 10 pm
